DigitalEYE is very proud to announce the launch of Hitting Jackit.  Walter Pouchot, DigitalEYE’s Art Director led the project. Walter oversaw the graphic design process and worked with our Director of IT, Kanate Ungkasrithongkul , coordinated with Brad Donnelly, Lead Developer to program Hitting Jack-It’s new site. They programmed the site with PHP and built it on top of a Magento eCommerce platform.

Hitting Jackit’s website is also PCI compliant,  meaning your orders are handled securely to avoid the risk of identity theft.

“The Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) is a set of requirements designed to ensure that ALL companies that process, store or transmit credit card information maintain a secure environment. Essentially any merchant that has a Merchant ID (MID).”

What Is Hitting Jackit?

Hitting Jackit was designed a year ago to give baseball players the edge they need when they practice. It slips on to the middle of any bat so you can not only swing the bat with added weight but also hit the ball. Other training tools attach to the top of the bat, making it extremely difficult, if not impossible, to hit the ball while using a weight. They also pull your arms way from your body, which causes casting and later leads to hit inaccuracy.

The Hitting Jackit gives younger baseball players the motivation they need to purse America’s favorite pastime. 63% of people who play quit because they can’t hit the ball well enough. Hitting Jackit helps solve that problem by improving speed, accuracy and strength when playing baseball. If you want to make baseball your profession, using Hitting Jackit is the best place to start; eight Major League Baseball teams are already using it. If you want to play like the pros, you better hit like the pros.

The Team Behind Hitting Jackit

Hitting Jackit was created by Marco Estrada to solve the problems of current hitting tools that haven’t improved, or even changed, in 25 years. There has been no innovation, which has led to practice becoming dull. Estrada was a minor league player for six years and met a lot of great major league players who now use the Hitting Jackit system. Estrada also started a charity called Pa La Calle which receives a percentage of proceeds from Hitting Jackit to help buy baseball and softball equipment for underprivileged inner city and international youth.

DigitalEYE is excited for the Hitting Jackit team and anxious to see how their new website will be able to help their e-commerce efforts.
