Overview:

White Nelson Diehl Evans is the leading regional CPA firm in Southern California and wanted an updated website that reflected a clean, professional image. Their existing website had not been updated in six years and did not align with the progressive and dynamic culture the firm wanted to represent. They wanted a new look that would engage prospects and customers alike.

Challenge:

The White Nelson Diehl Evans website design was more than five years old and not responsive. The client was experiencing a declining level of traffic to the site and less user engagement. There were few if any leads coming from visitors to the site.

There was a lack of knowledge based content that would engage visitors on the site and increase time spent engaging with or navigating through the various page. There will insufficient content to motivate users to complete a contact form and seek out further engagement with the client. As the premier regional CPA firm in Orange County, the website did not reflect the knowledge base or stature of the firm.

The website was not optimized for SEO and there was no CMS platform and design structure that would allow the client to add or update content or imagery to keep up with current tax and accounting regulations.

The client reached out and selected the Digital Eye team after evaluating several prospective digital marketing agencies. The objective was to completely redesign the website, create new content and functionality to achieve client goals with their online marketing efforts.

Solution:

The design process started with an in depth discovery phase, analyzing the client needs, business strategies, areas of expertise and client personas. Working collaboratively with the client to understand their market, the creative team at Digital Eye created a clean, professional design.

All new content was written with a focus on knowledge, expertise, information and education making the site a destination for users and prospects to learn. The site was fully searchable and scalable as the firm, industry and regulatory environment evolved. A Salesforce CRM API interface was added in the backend to more effectively collect, track and engage leads.

The site design was also made fully responsive for all device sizes to enhance all the mobile user experience, promote ease of navigation and information downloads, interaction with the site and engagement with the firm. A new blog page was created with a posting strategy and SEO optimization strategy to increase traffic to the site, reduce the bounce rate and heighten the engagement of site visitors.
